Web: http://16cientifiquescatalanes.blogspot.com
Coordinators: Mercè Piqueras / Raul Toran.
Opening: February 23 at 19h

According Mercè Piqueras, Chairperson of the ACCC and coordinator of the exhibition, "although the presence of women is a minory in some research areas, the number of researcher women have been increased in recent decades. But this increasing presence in the laboratories are not often reflected in public perception of science.

"This exibition has been conceived to overcome this deficit, and is based on a series of profiles of active researchers in different research areas such as biomedicine, chemistry, physics, mathematics and archeology", as declared by the technical secretary of the even, Raul Toran.

During the exibition some of the reserchers will give a talk on they own work and other research women to bring science to society.
