Dr. Ignasi Salvadó

On March the 3rd Dr. Ignasi Salvadó joined us as a Carburos employee with a Research Project Manager position in MatGas. The aim of this recruitment is to strengthen the research project management and external relations at MatGas. In addition, with him we will initiate research on CO2 photo-catalytic reduction.

Dr. Ignasi Salvadó is a Chemical Engineer from the University Rovira i Virgili -URV- Tarragona, Spain, (2000). After more than three years leading European Research Projects Management at URV Foundation, he moved to the University of Nottingham (UK). He obtained a British scholarship to start a PhD in design, modeling and experimental validation of photocatalytic reactors in gas phase.

In 2007, Dr. Salvadó obtained his PhD. degree in Engineering by the University of Nottingham. After graduation, he has worked as KTP associate for the University of Nottingham and the company Ransomwood Estates Ltd. The objective of the project was to design and commission a innovative bio-fuel production process from organic wastes.
