Dear friends and colleagues,

It is a pleasure for me to invite you to participate at the "MatGas Seminar Series on CO2 and related issues" that we are organizing at MatGas. The objective of this seminar series is to acquire a solid knowledge of the state of the art in the field of CO2 capture, utilization and energy issues associated to environmentally benign energy technologies. We will invite internationally recognized experts on CO2 capture, sequestration, utilization and energy connected issues (including hydrogen) with different and complementary perspectives: from fundamental knowledge to well developed technologies, enlightening the issues and challenges on this relevant topic. The seminars will be held on monthly basis at the MatGas building (Campus Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona, in front of the Firework Station).
 
Dr. J. ÁNGEL MENÉNDEZ, from INCAR - CSIC, is going to give the second seminar of this series, under the title: "Carbon materials as catalyst supports". The seminar will be held on wednesday, January 23th, at 12:00. Enclosed, please, find additional details on this presentation.
